Chapter History
During the fall 2006 semester, a spark of interest in Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated began. Prior to 2007, multicultural Greek Organizations did not exist on Dickinson's college campus. A year later, a group of women would organize and come together to create the D.A.M.A.S interest group.
April 21, 2008, the Dickinson College Panhellenic Council recognized D.A.M.A.S as an official interest group. August 1, 2008, Dickinson College was recognized as a colony of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated, becoming the first multicultural sorority on Dickinson’s campus. On June 13, 2012 the Dickinson College colony obtained chapter status and became the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. |
