Signature Events
Women Exposed Series:
It is our goal each year as a multicultural sorority that is committed to the empowerment of all women, to shed some light on the lives of women who have been marginalized in society. This event hopes to accomplish this by hosting a panel of Dickinson women and having a student lead conversation and Q&A. In the past we have held: Women in STEM, Afro-Latina Women Exposed, Queer Women Exposed, Black Women Exposed, Jewish Women exposed and Latina Women Exposed. |
What's Love Got to do With it?:
Every year around Valentine's Day Gammas host this event in order to gain insight on the variations of love we experience and the experiences of those on campus. This event allows us to explore relevant topics such as self love, consent, healthy relationships, etc. This is a way to bring attention and a critical eye to these important topics. |
Gamma Week
During the week of our founding date we host a week long celebration. Each day we host an event that celebrates one of our five principles of: Academics, Community Service, Cultural Awareness, Morals and Ethics, and Social Interaction. Diva's Ball
As part of our week long celebration, each year we end Gamma Week with Diva's Ball. This dance is a space where all self identified women are welcomed to celebrate themselves and each other. Diva's Ball honors our overall mission of empowering all women. |
